FAKTOR FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PERILAKU AMAN BERKENDARA (SAFETY RIDING) PADA PENGEMUDI OJEK ONLINE DI KOTA PALEMBANG

Abstract

Safety riding is a safe driving behavior that can help to avoid traffic problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence safe driving behavior in online motorcycle taxi drivers in the city of Palembang. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method using univariate and bivariate data analysis techniques. The objects in this study were online motorcycle taxi drivers in the city of Palembang with a sample of 100 people taken using accidental sampling techniques and tested using the chi square test. The results of this study indicate that the knowledge variable has a relationship with safety riding (P-value = 0.001), the attitude variable has a relationship with safety riding (P-value = 0.000), the personal protective equipment (PPE) variable has a relationship with safety riding (P-value = 0.018), the vehicle condition variable has a relationship with safety riding (P-value = 0.000). The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between the variables of knowledge, attitude, personal protective equipment (PPE), and vehicle conditions with safe driving behavior or safety riding
